The fish is popularly called in India as fighter fish wince it is really aggressive against every other fishes. Usually males have beautiful elongated fins to attract females. The male fins are long and colorful, while the females have shorter fins and are not as colorful. The fish fins are categorized by the shape of the tail, such as delta, paddle, and half-full tail.
